...back from the dead.
Hello~.
It has been a while, hasn't it? I got back from Madrid ten days ago, in the evening. Studied Philosophy till 4 am and went to school on the day after while everyone else was at home. Resting. Me, I had this Philosophy certamen (i.e. challenge) to decide who would represent our school at the regional selections (which will take place on 3/31). From then on, I haven't been sleeping more than three hours each night. At least, it seems my efforts were rewarded, since I got the best score like last year~ but this also means that I get even more extra-extra studying to do, and I feel like everything is so rushed and I'm not learning anything at all... X__x;
Luckily, Easter break started, and yesterday was my first day of freedom! <3 Yay! >:D I actually spent the morning looking for decent green contacts with Lau-chan, then she came over at my place for lunch and stayed till eight, and the whole afternoon went by painting that damn fabric DGHRUIBVGHJDSVKIKB Today I continued on my own, and now I'm almost finished, but I don't even want to think about when we'll have to paint the details of each clock... right now, it's all blue dots of three different sizes on a huge piece of black fabric. *faints*
Since I got back, I have been on the Net only a couple times, and for a few minutes too. I didn't have time to stay longer, sorry. So, if anyone has posted something they want me to read, please, let me know/post a link! I promise I'll search through my friends' journals to catch up ASAP, but I don't want to miss anything important~! >.<;/
However, I've been working on a fic in the meanwhile. I'm posting it tomorrow with something else (right now, really, I'm nearly dead to the world and the basic ways to use a pc/interact with other human beings).
I don't even want to talk about the school trip-- too tired, too uninteresting. I'll simply let you know that I don't like Madrid (speak about dull comments, uh?).

Photobucket
Outside the airport, where we waited in vain for the bus to take us to the hotel. To make it short, in the end we had to get a cab and pay for it ourselves.

Photobucket
First pic I took once inside my apartment. Yeah, we didn't get rooms but apartments.

Photobucket
And here is room #1, where you can see my luggage lying open on the pavement. XD; My friend didn't get hers till the day after - it had gotten lost somewhere along the way.

Photobucket
Room #2 and my roommate in despair; you got to the bathroom through a door that was in there. Incidentally, we only used room #1 to sleep/keep our things/etc.

Photobucket
The underground. Oh, the underground. We used it to move through the city, and the trains reminded me pretty much of those in Rome (I swear, they're identical!). In the Chamartin station, there was this huge thing resembling a waterfall, and I believe it's the thing I liked the most about Madrid, as sad as it may be.

Photobucket
I like this pic. Shall edit it when I'm less tired.

Photobucket
Plaza del Sol (?) by night. We were there practically every day and every night. Heh. In five days we only got to see this much. Oh, how I love my Math teacher who guided us through the city so wisely~ <3

Photobucket
Oh. This. This is were we had dinner every night. It was a typical restaurant and its name literally translated into 'The Ham Museum'. Go figure. I didn't even know that Spanish ham was that famous, before. And I swear this place was scary. Ham hanging from the walls. EVERYWHERE.

Photobucket
If I remember correctly, this was somewhere near the Prado Museum. I love the cold feeling to this picture.

Photobucket
That's the station where some terrorists put explosives a few years ago. Instead of rebuilding the platforms as they were, they decided to move them and have these huge plants grow in their place. The air feels excessively warm and sticky and wet. Just like being into a greenhouse. I don't even want to think of how it is during summer...

Photobucket
Still inside the same station. We were given free time to wander in there and have lunch. My friends and I sat on the edge of this fake pond (which was full of turtles, by the way), and this lovely child kept starying at me. I just had to take a pic of him even though I was afraid his mother would notice and think I was a pervert of some sort. Thanks to this fact, now my friends believe I like men who are wa~y younger than me.

Photobucket
...When we got here, the first thing that everyone said was: "This place is identical to piazza San Marco", and I swear it's true. Madrid is a strange mix between Venice and Naples, and a whole lot less lively.

Photobucket
Toledo (sorry, I don't know if it's still called like that in English), which actually interested me a lot. I found it a thousand times more beautiful than Madrid. I could have spent all of the five days in that wonderful, medieval town.
When we took pictures of this landscape, it was very cold and nobody wanted to get off the bus (the town itself was still far, as you can see, and we had no other reason to get out), but our teacher forced us to, and then we made fun of her for the whole day because of it.

Photobucket
...
The night before, I had been discussing the difference between cherry and peach trees. While on our way to Toledo, we had to stop, and the friend with whom I had been discussing made me notice THIS, and I was all like: "The camera! The camera! I must take a pic! Oh god, it's destiny!" + a lot of other things it's better to leave aside. But it was one of the best moments of the whole trip.

Photobucket
Another pic I love. Toledo looks a lot like our Assisi.

Photobucket
Taken on the morning of our last day in Madrid. This is Pity-chan washing her teeth (it's a shame I didn't have anyone take pics of me washing her teeth in the beginning). Lovely, ne? <3

Photobucket
One of the very last pics I took. Posting it just because it has got something which screams 'end'. At least for me.

Tomorrow I shall work on the fabric and finish it, but I still want to rant over TRC OAV 3 and chapter 185! write and draw again... D:
Does anybody have some nice (drawing) meme to tag me with? I'm bo~red!

C-cute? Me? Uhm... thanks? *blushes slightly* And yay for emo!glasses! I'd love them even more if their presence didn't mean my eyesight is BAD. But I still think glasses are such pretty accessories. <333 My hair needs to be turned pink.

I'm pretty excited for the cosplay too~ We're working really hard, but even that is so fun~~

I shall rant tomorrow, when I'm fully awake again!

Ahh~ but~ you're much closer to Japan than I am, at least~ ;///;

THE TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! *dies* For a while I tried to get my classmates to worship Tree-san, but they wouldn't listen to me, and so I just gave up, because I get easily bored and I thought Seishirou's careful attentions were already enough for it.
